TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Object of the Contest.
The S.A. with the name RACKSON LTD, (henceforth the “Organizer”), with VAT number 10371254H and registered office in 4 TENAROU str. AGIOS DOMETIOS, NICOSIA, CYPRUS, organizes a Contest which will be conducted through the Social Media Pages of the Official Page of Rhodian Tourism (hereinafter the “Website”).
- Eligibility for Participation in the Contest.
Eligible to participate in the Contest are those who are over 18 years old and reside in Greece and abroad, while the following are excluded: a. The employees of the Organizer, b. the employees of the Website and c. the first-degree relatives of the above employees (a) and (b) as well as the spouses of these employees.
- Duration of the Contest.
The duration of the Contest is from Friday, December 10, 2021 time 18.30, up to Friday, January 7, 2021 time 12.00.
To validly participate in the Contest, the participant must perform the following actions: He/She/They must log in to the Organizer’s Social Media Pages:

& Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/rhodeswelcometourismofficialpage/).
In the post of the Contest on Instagram he/she/they should:
- Connect to his/her/their personal page on Instagram.
- Follow @rhodeswelcometourismofficial
- Like the post of the Contest
- Tag one or more friends in the Contest post
In the post of the Contest on Facebook he/she/they should:
- Connect to his/her/their personal page on Facebook.
- Follow @rhodeswelcometourismofficialpage
- Like the post of the Contest
- Tag one or more friends in the Contest post
Each participating user can participate in the Contest once. Entries submitted within the time limits of the Contest are considered valid. Any entries submitted after the above date and time of expiration are automatically considered invalid and do not lead to any result, nor are they binding on the Organizer and / or any third party. Additionally, entries that contain comments-answers that relate to and are related to the above question of the Contest, do not offend public decency and good morals, do not insult the honor and dignity of any third party, do not contain abusive content will be considered valid. Furthermore, entries that contain comments-answers insulting human dignity or discriminating against persons on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation, are contrary to the provisions in force, or are in any other way unjust, indecent and contrary to law and good morals will be considered invalid. The Organizer does not bear any responsibility, especially civil or criminal, for the comments of users, nor does it consent to them, nor does it adopt or accept them.
- Exclusion of Participants
4.1. The Organizer may (is not obliged) to exclude from the Contest and / or to exclude the access to the page (ban), at any stage of its conduct, any Participant that in its opinion is likely to have used (or attempted) use) unfair means in connection with his participation or has violated (or attempted to violate) any of these Terms. Unfair means are considered, indicatively and not restrictively, the use of devices, media, computers and/or software to facilitate automated or multiple participations without human intervention, interception, etc.
4.2. Participations with content that offends public decency and good morals or presents ambiguities or technical defects of any kind are excluded and are automatically invalid.
4.3. Participations with content that is insulting, vulgar, defamatory, dangerous, racist, that insults human dignity or in general contradicts the existing provisions or in any other way indecent at the absolute discretion of the Organizer are excluded and are automatically invalid.
4.4. The Organizer reserves the right to delete an excessive number (more than one (1)) of comments of the same user without this affecting his valid participation in the Contest. In this case, the comments will correspond to only one (1) entry in the draw.
- Gifts.
The 5 (five) winners of this promotion-Contest will receive a gift basket with local Rhodian products each.
Gifts are personal, non-transferable and non-exchangeable, nor can they be replaced or redeemed for cash at any price.
- How to Nominate Contest Winners and communicate with them.
The five (5) winners and the two (2) runners-up will be announced based on an electronic draw that will take place on Friday, January 7, 2021, at 13.00 at the offices of the Organizer and will be announced on Friday, January 7, 2021, at 15.00, in the Post of the Contest, only with their first name and initials, to ensure their privacy and personal data. The Organizer will notify the selected winners via a text message that will be sent personally to each of them in their inbox, with which they will be asked to send, afterwards, their personal data (name, address, phone number) with a message in the inbox of the page, in order for the Organizer to confirm their details and to ensure the receipt of their gifts. These data are collected and processed by the Organizer exclusively in the context of this Contest and after the delivery of the gifts will be destroyed and will be permanently and safely deleted from the database of the Organizer. Any charges related to the sending of the Gift are covered by the Organizer.
In case any of the winners of the Contest does not contact the Organizer within a period of 4 calendar days from the time he will be notified with a personal message in the inbox of his Facebook page and Instagram for his promotion as a winner or in case at any point in time it is judged that his participation was not valid, this person permanently loses his/hers/their right to the relevant Prize, which is transferred to the runner-up who has emerged from the draw. “Valid participation” in the above means, inter alia, any participation in the Contest for which the following applies: (a) has been submitted in accordance with these terms, (b) is not, at the discretion of the Organizer, a product of illegal technical influence in the systems of the Organizer or in general fraud or unfair interference of the participant or a third party.
- Gift Delivery.
Regarding the delivery of the Prize to the winners, this will be done through a company of the Organizer’s selection.
A condition for the delivery of the prize to the winner is the presentation by the winner of a Police Identity Card or passport and/or any other document, from which the identity of the said winner can be obtained.
- Refusal to accept a Gift.
In case the winner of the Contest does not wish to accept his Prize, this person permanently loses his right to the Prize. Also, the Organizer limits its responsibility to the distribution of the gifts mentioned above exclusively through the procedures mentioned above. The Organizer will not be liable for fruitless attempts to notify the winners due to non-response.
- Organizer Responsibility.
The Organizer will not be liable in the event that for any technical reason it is temporarily impossible to obtain and register the participation of any participant from the system of registration of entries in the Contest and the nomination of winners. In any case, the responsibility of the Organizer will be limited to acts or omissions due to malice or gross negligence and in no case will it extend to accidental events or events of force majeure. The Organizer reserves the right to proceed, at any time until the completion of the Contest and the announcement of the winners, with the immediate termination of the process and the cancellation of the Contest for an important reason, in which case the Contest will be automatically terminated and consumers who have already participated do not right or claim against the Organizer, nor are they entitled to request the continuation of the Contest or their participation in it or the direct delivery of the Gift to them or any amount of compensation. In addition, the Organizer reserves the right to modify at its discretion the present terms, the duration of the Contest, the prizes offered at any time during the Contest or after its completion, by making the necessary posts on the Contest page on Instagram and Facebook.

- The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms, if deemed necessary. Any such modification will take effect upon posting of the modified terms on the Organizer’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/rhodeswelcometourismofficialpage/)
The Organizer does not assume any responsibility regarding any such change.
- A condition for participation in the Contest is the explicit, complete and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. All participants in the Contest expressly accept, in full and without reservation the present Terms. If any interested party does not accept these terms, he is obliged not to participate in the Contest.
All participants unreservedly acknowledge, declare and accept that their personal information is accurate and true, that they are adults over the age of 18, that their personality, health and/or physical integrity is not compromised or harmed in any way by their participation in the Contest and that their participation in the Contest does not infringe on personal data, the right of personality or intellectual or industrial property rights, trade secrets or other property rights of any third party.
- Personal Data.
The processing of personal data of users of the page is governed by the following terms, by the relevant provisions of the General Regulation for Data Protection, of the applicable national legislation on personal data (Law 2472/1997 on the protection of the individual from the protection of personal data, as in force, n. 3471/2006 etc.) as well as from the relevant decisions, instructions and regulatory acts of the Personal Data Protection Authority.
Responsible for the processing of your personal data which are collected through the above page is the S.A. Company with the name “RACKSON LTD” (“Organizer”).
The Organizer, in its capacity as the Editor, collect the following personal data of the participants: name, telephone number, address, Facebook / Instagram username, Facebook / Instagram profile photo for the needs of the event and publicity of the Contest, exclusively for the purposes of communication with the participants and the winners, as well as for the awarding and delivery of the Prizes to the winners.
The personal data of the Participants will not be passed on to third parties, except for any persons who, as processors, by order and on behalf of the Organizer, may be involved in the registration of entries in this Contest, the nomination of Winners and the performance of Gifts. In particular, the personal data of the winners will be transmitted to the Delivery company, in order to communicate with the participants and send the Prizes to the winners.
The processing of personal data by the Organizer, as the Executor of the Processing, is done in accordance with the General Regulation for Data Protection and the applicable national legislation on personal data protection.
The processing and use of the above personal data, which are absolutely necessary, relevant and appropriate for the conduct of the Contest, is a necessary condition for the conduct of this Contest, the conduct of the draw, the nomination of the winners and the award and Delivery of Gifts.
THE RIGHTS OF THE PARTICIPANTS
Participants have the following rights which they can exercise at any time:
- a) Right to correct personal data.
Each participant has the right to request the correction or modification of his/her/their personal data.
- b) Right to portability.
Each participant has the right to request to receive his/her/their personal data in electronic form.
- c) Right to delete personal data.
Each participant has the right to request the deletion of his/her/their personal data.
- d) Right to management restriction.
Each participant has the right to request a restriction on the processing of his/her/their personal data if he/she/they believe that his/her/their personal data has not been legally processed.
- e) Right to refuse to process personal data.
Each participant has the right to refuse the processing of his/her/their personal data at any time.
- f) Right to complain to the competent authority.
Each participant has the right to complain directly to the competent authority regarding the way his/her/their personal data is processed.
In the event that a participant decides to exercise the above numbers. (c) to (e) his/her/their rights during the conduct of this Contest, he/she/they will no longer have the right to participate in the Contest and to receive prizes as a necessary condition for participation and receipt of gifts is the processing of personal data of the participant.

These terms are governed by Greek law and any dispute relating to promotion shall be settled by the competent courts of Athens.

The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or conducted by Facebook, nor is it affiliated with it in any way, therefore Facebook bears no responsibility for any claim or claim of a participant or any third party arising from or in connection with this Contest. Participation in the Contest presupposes the access of the interested parties to the Internet with their own technical means. The Organizer does not undertake any obligation regarding the provision, the assistance of the access to the venues of the Contest or the provision of facilities to any interested party. Access to the Website of the Contest is permitted only under the operating conditions of the relevant server (server) and the technical and other conditions and specifications of the Contest. Furthermore, the Organizer is not responsible for any burden of the competing users from the above reasons. The Organizer is not responsible for any damage that occurs on the website of the Contest, resulting in the temporary or permanent suspension of the Contest.
- Force Majeure.
In case of force majeure, security reasons or other circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer, the Organizer may and is entitled not to offer the Gifts, at which time he will be released from any responsibility and will not be obliged to offer an alternative gift of any kind and worth.
